Deep in the heart of the eclectic art district of Sheung Wan, Emma Wallace, the formal ready-to-wear brand, has opened the doors of it’s first boutique in Hong Kong. With graffiti artist Invader’s work watching over the store and an array of antique shops and art galleries around every corner, Po Hing Fong is the perfect location for the unique brand.
A chic, clean monochrome interior sets the perfect backdrop for the colourful clothes and accessories selling in store. The clever mixing of British interior decor with antique Chinese furniture clearly cements the brand’s passion for a fusion design style.
The Emma Wallace womenswear collection is a sumptuous mix of gowns, dresses and jumpsuits for every occasion. It seamlessly combines bold statement pieces with whimsical touches for women who want to create impact, whilst maintaining their feminine edge. Season after season Wallace’s collections deliver a consistent blend of western heritage fused with Eastern influence. Mixing vintage eras with colour and pattern inspiration from the vivid sights of Asia. Her unique collections serve up the perfect mix of glamour and cutting edge modernity for the woman who wants to feel unstoppable. A carefully curated selection of accessory brands sits alongside the womenswear line within the new flagship store to compliment the collection and offer customers a total look.
The store’s official opening party on 10th April 2018 served up a stylish array of fashionistas and influencers, enjoying a night of dress up fun with the brand’s instore stylist and having personalised illustrations of their favourite looks.
The brand’s designer Emma Wallace explains “we are so excited to be opening our flagship
store. The opening party has been such fun, seeing confident beautiful women from all different places trying new colours and shapes and loving themselves in them! When designing the shop space we wanted our first Hong Kong store to reflect the brand but also to reflect our customers. The #emmawallacewoman is a confident fashionista who dances to her own beat, where she can dare to try and be the one to bring life to the store. We wanted a space where women can gather to talk about style, feel free to express themselves and try new things. It is not just a shop, it is a community”
With new #thursdaychic events coming up where women can gather to discuss styling tips and get advise from style experts, this is definitely a destination to keep on your style radar.
