BELOWGROUND is pleased to present “HUMAN”, an exclusive capsule collection between Japanese artist CHARR and Hong Kong based select store Asterisk. In partnership with Vans
Hong Kong, up-and-coming artist CHARR and Asterisk reimagined the iconic Vans Era silhouette alongside a series of apparel that will be part of the capsule collection, exclusively available at BELOWGROUND.

The space will be transformed into an exhibition space featuring works from the up-and-coming Japanese CHARR alongside the capsule collection. In partnership with local non-profit arts organisation HKWALLS, Asterisk will be hosting a series of community workshops every weekend during the pop-up duration, and will allow selected participants to reimagine their own iterations of the Vans Era sneaker.

Starting from the first of May, workshops will be held every Saturday and Sunday of May (10 days in total). Each day will feature 3 sessions with 8 participants each, and each session will last 1.5 hours. Time slots are as follows: 14:00-15:30, 16:00-17:30 & 18:00-19:30. The participants will be selected via raffle hosted on @weareasterisk’s Instagram account in the upcoming week.
