Relish in the Outdoors and Book Your Private Moment: The First-in-Asia Globoscope Immersive Light Showcase from France lands at K11 MUSEA for Christmas
Delighting art lovers throughout the city, this first-in-Asia Globoscope is an immersive
sensory light showcase that first debuted at the Fête des Lumières de Lyon in 2014. The
monumental immersive work is made up of a large number of luminous individual spheres that shimmer in sync.
Taking inspiration from K11 MUSEA’s vision, this site-specific showcase has been created and configured in harmony with the Bohemian Garden. With the unique characteristics of ‘A Muse By the Sea’, each individual light sphere is uniquely positioned as a glowing point or pixel within this beautiful landscape, connected into choreographed light movements that swirl throughout. Mathematics and light are used in this way to transform the Bohemian Garden, offering the viewer a surreal experience as though they are transported to another space.
Take in the moment, look up and around at the surrounding Hong Kong skyline and discover how the curation of this showcase has been designed to complement the city’s high-spirited lights and energy. This beautifully festive and romantic setting is open to the public from now until 3 January 2021 upon reservation and on a first come first served basis. Each session lasts for 20 minutes from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Private moments are available and guests can book a slot to treat family and friends or as a romantic gesture to surprise a partner with a marriage proposal.
