PEPPERTINT renewing retro shapes for a classic 90’s look

This season, LA-inspired eyewear label Peppertint pays homage the vibrant energy and bold personas of its hometown by revisiting classic 90’s silhouettes and giving them a modern twist. Five new styles are born, namely Abbot Kinney, Marina, L.B.C., Inglewood and Blake – each inspired by a part or per-son that defines the brand’s style.

“LA is composed of many communities showcasing different personalities. I take inspiration from people with optimistic attitudes and a brave approach to life.” says Cyrus, the Creative Director of Peppertint.

Named after the boulevard parallel to Venice beach, the Abbot Kinney is the highlight of the collection and sets the tone for the collection with its frameless octagon lenses. It has an organic touch with the rounded metal parts and lenses.

Its trendy, unexpected and cool cousin is the Marina with an identical twist on the arm, is an-other daring style that grabs attention. The matte lenses heighten the look.

Blake is a hat tip to its namesake – the label’s first featured model and muse. Inspired by his easygoing and fun personality, this go-to piece has fun pink-tinted lenses that will upgrade any look.

The L.B.C. and the Inglewood, both amazing parts of California, have the more classic and masculine shapes in the collection, both featuring high quality gold-ware and frames for a stylish look that will last the test of time.

Each style is finished with a Californian palm tree motif on the lens, marking the season in a fun and iconic way unique to the brand.
