As part of the event, HULA will be hosting a limited seating discussion panel ‘Has Sustainability Become Stylish?’ on the evening of Tuesday, November 28. When Stella McCartney first launched her fur-free, leather-free business in 2001, she was ridiculed. Fast forward to 2017, most fashion labels have established ethical standards for their practices to varying degrees – being asked at some point about how sustainable their operations are is almost inevitable. Panelists include Carlo Imo (Head of Kering Asia Pacific), Justine Lee (Fashion Director of Hong Kong Tatler) and Christina Dean (Founder of Redress), and the panel will be moderated by Angie Lau (Bloomberg Asia Anchor). This event is by-invitation only.

For the duration of this six-day event, our charitable giving would go towards Redress – an environmental NGO working to reduce waste in the fashion industry.
