Fashion artist Emma J Shipley’s award-winning land of curious creatures has
expanded to a magical collection of home fragrances inspired by myths, legends,
and the beauty of the natural world. Designed in London and handcrafted from the
finest bone china with real gold accents, each deluxe diffuser is composed in
collaboration with the British fragrance house Bahoma. The six fragrances are as
imaginative and exotic as their hand-drawn illustrations inspired by Emma’s
adventures in Africa, South America, and the British countryside. Each striking scent
comes with cotton diffuser sticks and lasts up to seven months – much longer than
most standard diffusers.
From fine art to fashion
Emma J Shipley is a British artist and designer who launched her eponymous label at London Fashion Week in 2012 after graduating from the Royal College of Art. A celebrated artist in the couture world, Emma blends imagination with reality in breathtaking, nature-inspired drawings that make a statement in any home with ethical manufacturing standards. She painstakingly draws each design by hand in pencil, fusing exceptional craftsmanship with a subversive mind’s eye that captures nature’s unpredictable beauty. The sought-after designer has collaborated with Browns, Disney, Aspinal of London, Atelier Swarovski, and Anthropologie.

This bespoke scented oil evokes the mystical lynx design with
exuberant and seductive notes of tuberose and gingerlily set on an
amber and musky base. The intricate, hand-drawn design features
striking winged lynx with peacock tails leaping through a starry sky
with details inspired by South African rock paintings and mythology.
Completing the scene is a palette of blush pink, magenta, and
verdant green shades.

Inspired by Jules Verne’s adventure stories and Emma J Shipley’s
travels to Botswana, striking leopard-spotted elephants take centre
stage among leaping gazelles, birds of paradise, and curious foliage
in this explosion of African fantasy. Sensual notes of spicy rose
mixed with peach and jasmine are set on earthy vetiver to take you
on a journey through the enchanted jungle.

Green fig & cedarwood
This wild and woody scented oil was composed to evoke a jungle
dream world, with juicy notes of ripening fig set on a fresh base of
cedarwood that creates a spirited melange of aromas. The
monochrome design is inspired by Emma’s trip to the Amazon
jungle and features jaguars hidden among foliage, playful parrots in
the trees, and spectacularly surreal detailing.

Balsamic patchouli & musk
Inspired by the nineteenth-century botanical artist and ornithologist
John James Audubon, this scented oil was made to complement
Audubon’s enchanting designs, showcasing fantastical birds along
with geometric and scientific details. A blend of floral notes of
patchouli and geranium essential oils are set on a woody, musky
base to create a beautiful balsamic harmony.

The hand-drawn design is inspired by an African safari adventure
and features a marvellous array of creatures and foliage, including
spotted giraffes sheltering under tropical palms.

world of Narnia, with details of surreal trees that add a signature twist
